My first olimpic shotting competition

Last Sunday I went with my family to my first competition of olympic shotting. I went to the club where I practice every week. My competition was at 12 o’clock in the morning. There, we found one friend of us, of the swimming pool. They were there because they know another girl that trains in the same club of me, but she trains Mondays and I I train Wednesdays. I arrived at time and I put on my “street”. At 12 o’clock the referee said that we could start the competition. The competition consisted in 40 shots for the classification and infinite shots to concentrate or to modificate the gun. I made 15 shots of training and when I realised that, I didn’t need to modificate the gun, I started the 40 shots of competitions. After one hour, I finished the 40 shots of the competition.  The competition was one hour and a half. When I was in my shot number 39 my trainer came and said to me “go one moment outside”. When we were out, he said to me that he would give me a counterweight, I use it to point better, but when I said him that I was on the shot number 39, he said that then I will not need because I only had to make another shot. After the competition we stayed some minutes talking with our friend and then we returned home because we were hungry.

On Wednesday I saw the results, it was a little bit bad, but taking in account that it was my first competition, I’m proud of me. The result was 245 points of 400.
